  1. Heat in heavy skillet butter or margarine, chopped onion, chopped celery, diced tart green apple, chopped giblets. Sauté over moderate heat until onions are straw colored. Blend in cooked bulgur, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. How to cook bulgur: combine in a saucepan, 1 cup bulgur, 1 2/3 cups water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer until water is absorbed.
