Old Fashioned Bulgur Raisin Pudding

  • 1 cup #3 coarse bulgur
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup seedless raisins
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  1. Combine in baking dish all the ingredients. Cover and bake in moderate oven, 350° F, for 45 minutes; remove cover, stir and continue baking uncovered for about 45 minutes or until nicely browned.
