Country Style Taboule Salad

  • 1 cup #3 coarse bulgur
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 bunch parsley (chopped)
  • 1 bunch green onions (chopped)
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  1. Combine water and bulgur in a bowl and let stand for one hour. When most of the water is absorbed, combine the rest of the ingredients; mix well and chill in refrigerator for one hour.
