Bulgur Stuffed Peppers

  • 2 1/2 cups cooked #2 medium or #3 coarse bulgur
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup canned bouillon
  • 3 green peppers
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cans cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • Grated cheese
  1. Blend cooked bulgur, ground beef or sausage, bouillon, salt, seasoned salt, Worchestershire sauce, and pepper. Cut in halves lengthwise, remove all seeds and white portions of green peppers. Place in shallow baking dish. Fill pepper halves with bulgur mixture. Mix and pour over stuffed peppers tomato sauce and grated cheese. Cover and bake in moderately hot oven, 375°, 30 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking for 30 minutes.
