Armenian Christmas Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart water
  • 1/2 cup #3 coarse bulgur
  • 1/2 cup blanched raisins
  • 1/2 cup apricots diced
  • 1/2 cup dates diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Cook fruit and bulgur in water for 25 minutes. Add sugar, cook an additional 15 minutes. Pour into bowl or individual serving bowls. Garnish with walnuts, blanched almonds and a small pinch of cinnamon.
