Holiday Pilaf with Bulgur
Servings 4
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 small small onion chopped
- pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp. minced dill
- 1 tbsp. pine nuts
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. raisins
- 1/2 tsp. tsp. cinnamon
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. all spice
- 1 cup #2 medium or #3 coarse bulgur
Instructions
- Melt the butter. Add onion and sauté about 10 minutes. Add chicken broth, nuts, raisins, and seasonings and bring to a boil. Add bulgur; cover and bring to a boil again. Lower heat and cool until liquid is absorbed.
