Cream together oil and sugar; add egg and bulgur. Sift together dry ingredients and stir in. Add raisins and nuts. Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Note: Instead of greasing cookie sheet, can use parchment paper.
* To cook bulgur, use 1/2 cup bulgur and add 1 cup boiling water; stir. Let sit until all water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and refrigerate.
