Cream together softened butter, vanilla, and eggs (do not over mix). Mix brown sugar, granulated white sugar, baking soda and sea salt with whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour.
Add creamed mixture to dry mixture; add 1 Tbsp. water as needed. Mix together then add flax, walnuts, oats and chocolate chips. Spoon 1-inch size round balls onto ungreased cookie sheet (best to use a small cookie scoop).
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 15-16 minutes.
